THIS IS THE RESERVATIONS PAGE
If you want to find out what your visit will be like we suggest reading
the About Us page by clicking HERE. This was written by a visitor and will
give you the best idea of what to expect. Also - this is an active mine so
collecting is limited to the outside screening area - no collecting is allowed
inside the mine. We simply give you the opportunity to experience what it is
like in an underground when the mine is not operating.
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE PAGE AND WRITE DOWN THE REQUIRED INFORMATION.
ALL the information you need to make a reservation request is on this page if you read it.
You need to provide us with the EXACT information on our online form to make a reservation request:

| 3) Your cell phone or home phone number (one that you will answer) |
| 4) Your email address (one that works) |
| 5) Preferred date for reservation |

6) Download the Visitor Information Packet (VIP) after you are confirmed. You will not receive the password to open the VIP download until the week of your visit. |
It is critically important that you return our calls and/or respond to our emails regarding
your visit. We WILL fill every spot available on a given Sunday. So you are not disappointed
please communicate effectively or you may not have a spot. Since we no longer provide
the VIP password until we have spoken the week before your visit you will not know where to
come. It is harsh but a reality since we are consistently in an excess demand
situation. We offer the public a unique glimpse at real mining.

IMPORTANT Pricing Details
$60 per adult/$50 per child for individuals or single parent families.
Note - a Family 4 Pack is two adults and two children (11 and under - no negotiation) - not four adults.
The price is $200.00 per Family 4 Pack
Example Pricing: 3 adults and 3 kids equals one Family 4 Pack plus one adult
and one child. Your group cost will be $200 plus $60 plus $50 or $310 total.
No checks or credit cards accepted so bring cash only. Also bring a
completed release form for each person in attendance.
What to bring: Gloves, sun hat, lunch, drinks, good walking shoes or boots (no sandals), ziplock bags, a backpack or bucket to bring home your rocks. Also dont forget to bring a completed liability release form for each person and exact cash for the tour/screening fee. We do not accept checks or credit cards on site.

When you make a reservation request you will be given a list of available dates.
If the date you want is not on the list then it is simply NOT available. Every month
we have hundreds of people that want to visit the mine over the amount we can handle.
If you are from out of the southern California area you might want to plan your visit on a
date where we can guarantee your visit rather than gambling on an opening. You can also
check Jeff's Short Notice link on the home page a few days before to see if any spots open up
